Five steps, no installers, no IT project. Here's exactly what setting up WAITLY looks like.
Create your account, name your restaurant, and pick a plan. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial — no credit card, nothing to cancel if you walk away.
Map your floor into zones (terrace, main hall, bar), add your tables, and choose which request types guests can send. WAITLY generates a unique QR code per table — print the stickers and place one on each table.
Open WAITLY on any Android smartwatch, enter a 6-digit pairing code from your dashboard, and assign the watch to a zone or staff group. That's it — the watch is on shift.
A guest scans the table's QR, taps "Call waiter" or "Bill, please" — and the request lands on the right wrist and the live board instantly. Staff snooze or complete it with one tap, and guests can flag a request as "not done" if it slips.
Every request is timestamped from tap to completion. Review response times by zone, shift, and staff member, spot slow spots before guests feel them, and coach with real numbers.
No proprietary hardware — you probably have most of this already
One per waiter on shift. Use watches you already own or affordable off-the-shelf models — no locked-in pager hardware.
Optional but handy: any tablet or spare screen at the pass or host stand shows every open request in real time.
WAITLY runs in the browser and over your normal internet connection. Guests use their own phones — nothing to install.
